We're home but leaving again

We finished our business in about an hour yesterday but decided to stay an additional day to relax and kick back before heading to Newmar.  It was momentous for Jack to give up his CA drivers license.  It is the one and only state in which he has held an operator's license and though his photo was about fifteen years old and bore no resemblance....he just loved his long ago memorized driver's license number.   I have this  penchant for remembering numbers and I already hold in my memory both of our new license numbers so no problem!

We'll be off to Indiana via a somewhat different route than that by which we traveled to South Dakota.  Still, I'm anxious about all that congestion around Chicago.  We'll do our best to avoid I80 where the construction delays are long.

Note to Fran and Howard S :  We will tentatively be in your neighborhood in October or early November as we head South.  We hope to synch up with you folks.
