New England Trek

We arrived in Lake Champlain Islands (South Hero, VT) and found it so beautiful that we stayed three days.  We drove the islands top to bottom but neglected to take our cameras so there are no photos to post.  On the second afternoon the skies began to darken and a storm threatened to change the terrific autumn weather we had been enjoying.  We left Monday enroute to Maine and drove through the hills and dales of Vermont and New Hampshire settling at yet another club Walmart in Concord, NH for the evening.  We are just getting organized for our continued travels to Wells/Wells Beach, ME where we'll visit with Jack's cousin, find lobster and hopefully take some interesting photos.

Fall Colors

The leaves have not begun to turn but the landscape is quite beautiful nonetheless.  We've passed through Wilton, NY, a short distance from Saratoga Springs and Lake George. We drove North through the Adirondack Mountains past Lake George, Lake Placid and upper Lake Champlain Grande Isle where we'll spend a few days.  Here are some of the photos taken from the motorcoach as we drove.
