Florence, OR (one of our favorite seacoast towns)

It's raining but we still love this little town on the Oregon coast.  The Elks Lodge is large and full featured.  We even have WiFi!  The phone service, not so good.  We can make calls if we use our truck antenna.

After driving around and checking out the small shops in the old part of town we had supper at Waterfront Depot.  This small eatery is still excellent.  They offer seafood and other entres for a reasonable $$ price.  We have been looking forward to having the Portugese seafood stew and so we did. It was terrific and a much more affordable check to pay than we experience in other coastal tourist towns.

We will be here a few more days and are hoping to get out and take some new photos for my travel journal project.  More photos and travel details soon.
